Ayurvedic Head and Face Massage

A soothing traditional massage that stimulates the marmas (pressure points) on the head and face, and helps relieve pressure on the head and also helps tone the skin and keeps the mind alert.

Nasya (Nasal Therapy)

Nasya is a special Panchakarma (Five Therapies of detoxification) therapy that is given and administered by warm medicated oils, powders or other liquids snuffed through the nose. Whilst this may seem strange at first, this treatment is effective in many disorders, from sinus-related issues for clearing the head, mental disorders and also severe neurological problems such as hemiplegia or paralysis.  Head and Face Massage is included here.


Shiropichu

Shiropichu is the retention of medicated oil over the top of the head, useful in many psychological disorders, and also helps prevent greying of hairs, hair fall etc.

GreevaBasti

Greeva basti is the retention of warm, medicated oil on the back of the neck in a dough-ring, that helps relieve pains and problems in the upper-neck and shoulder region.

Uro Basti

Uro basti is the retention of warm, medicated oil on the chest in a dough ring which helps with injuries to the chest and pains in this region.

Janu Basti

Janu basti is the rentetion of medicated oil on the knee-joint, in a dough ring which helps relieve pains in the knee-joint, and also injuries, swelling etc. due to any injuries.

Kati Basti

Kati basti is the retention of warm, medicated oil on the lower back in a dough ring, that helps relieve lower back pain and problems such as sciatica.

Marma Gudika Treatment

Marma Gudika is a specialised paste treatment on specific areas of the body for reducing pain, swelling and inflammation. It is helpful in cases of spains, bruises and also popst-injury also when pains persist. Itcan be done on localised regions or pressurepoints (marmas) as a healing treatment also.

This treatment also includes special oil massage for reducing pain and swelling over the localised area.



Karna-Purana: Ear Treatment

Karna Purana is the pouring of warm, medicated oil into the ear for ringing in the ear, earache, dry skin diseases, toothache and many more. We have specific oils for ear diseases.

Kavala / Gandusha: Oral Therapies
(30 mins)

Kavala and Gandusha are special Ayurvedic therapies that treat the oral cavity, including ulcers, dental issues such as loose teeth, toothache and other ENT disorders also. The cavity is filled with warm medicated milks, oils or decoctions, depending on the disorder.

Seka and Aschyothana: Eye Therapies

Seka and Aschyothana are generally done as part of many eye therapies in Ayurveda, and is also an effective way to help remove any impurities in the eyes caused by conjunctivitis, and also any inflammation to the eyes and surrounding areas. Medicated liquid is poured over the eye areas whilst closed in these procedures, to help cool the eyes and also cleanse them.

 Netra Tharpana (Eye Therapy)

Netra Tharpana is the retention of medicated ghee (clarified butter) around the eyes, by bathing the eyes in this decoction, which is effective for many eye diseases, increasing the strength of the eye muscles and also lenses. It is very effective traditionally in the early cases of cataracts. 

Other localised treatments are available and will be discussed as per your situation and disorder.
